Ants are social insects having well defined distribution of labor in the colony. There are different casts like workers, soldiers, queen ant and reproductive males. Their complex and cooperation based colony allow them to survive and thrive in adverse conditions.

  • Worker ants can live for up to 7 years, while a queen can live for up to 15 years.
